God is moving powerfully across Latvia as hearts are being healed, lives restored, and people encounter the love of Jesus in deep and personal ways. New families, youth, and seekers are finding hope and belonging in growing church communities filled with worship, prayer, and faithful service. From Liepaja to Ikšķile and Talsi, we rejoice in salvations, baptisms, strengthened marriages, and believers stepping boldly into ministry. We are deeply thankful for God’s faithfulness as the Gospel shines brightly and Christ continues to transform lives throughout Latvia and invite you to continue praying for and supporting the Latvian Church Planting families as Christ keeps transforming lives across the nation.

We can clearly see God’s work in our church. Many people share testimonies of experiencing God’s love among us, and hearts are being healed. It is beautiful to see the truth of God’s Word lived out that people will know we are His disciples by our love for one another.
People are serving faithfully with their gifts, and we continue to organize different events. A new women’s ministry has started, and the men are also gathering regularly. We are truly thankful for all that God is doing.
One woman came to one of our services after not attending church for seven years. She had lost trust in the church community and practised her faith mostly at home. Today, she has been part of our church for over two years. After attending a couple’s evening we organized, her husband also began coming. Step by step, God restored both their faith and their relationship with the church, and now they actively serve in our community. It has been wonderful to witness God’s work in their lives.
Challenges & Prayer Requests
One challenge is that I, as the pastor, cannot serve full-time, even though this would be very important for the growth of the church. This is our first prayer request. We also have a youth ministry, and many of the young people are not yet believers. We are praying that God would raise up passionate youth leaders either from within our church or send to us who can guide and disciple them. Another prayer request is for a permanent church building or space where we can gather regularly for worship, ministry, and events.

Things are going well! Our whole family is serving in the Ikšķile Church Plant. My wife, Gita, serves in the women's ministry, our youngest daughter Alise, helps organize the worship ministry, and together with my son Roland, they are involved in youth ministry. My oldest daughter, Ieva, also sings during our services whenever she returns from concerts across Europe. Our team is doing very well, and we are thankful for God’s faithfulness.
During our services, we strongly sense God’s presence, and many people share testimonies of how He has touched their lives. We have now begun holding weekly Sunday services after moving into a new building that is clean, welcoming, and well-suited for the size of our church. We clearly see God’s provision in making this possible, and from the very first service, we felt peace and joy, knowing this is the right place for us at this time.
We are also encouraged to see new families joining our services, and we believe this is God’s work.
Challenges & Prayer Requests
Prayer for our missional outreach as we serve people in need through food packages and clothing support in our town.Prayer for our small groups, that newcomers would become connected, build relationships, and grow in faith through meeting in our homes.

Our family and church are doing well. The past few months have been fruitful both personally and in our church ministry. We have started planning for the new year and new projects focused on serving our city as a church.
One of these projects is the VIETAS Popup Forums, for which we have already set dates and invited speakers. Over four months, we will host monthly forums discussing current topics in the city while sharing the gospel, serving the community, and building connections with the church.
One woman decided to visit the church on her birthday. After the service, when I invited people forward for prayer, she was the first to come. During prayer, she was deeply touched by God and accepted Jesus as her Saviour in front of the congregation. Since then, she has been travelling nearly 30 km almost every Sunday to attend church services and also joins a women’s home group.
She shared with us that although her outward circumstances have not changed, inwardly she has become a completely different person. Recently, she was also baptized together with several young people from our church.
