We are delighted to invite you to Connect 2027, a gathering for youth and children’s workers from across the European Baptist Federation.

Please pass on this information to those in your union, church or organisation who might be interested to attend.

 

We will meet in Rovigo, Italy, from Thursday, 28 January to Sunday, 31 January 2027, for a time of fellowship, learning, encouragement, worship, and sharing experiences from our different contexts. The programme will begin with dinner on Thursday evening and conclude with a worship service on Sunday.

Our theme for Connect 2027 is Reach Beyond: From Church to Community

​

Inspired by the Acts 2 Movement, we will explore how our ministries with children and young people can move beyond the walls of the church and engage more deeply with our communities.

Together, we will reflect on what it means to be a church that reaches out, builds relationships, serves its community, and creates opportunities for children and young people to encounter and share the good news of Jesus.

A special Saturday experience

On Saturday afternoon, we will travel to Venice to experience the city during its annual Carnival - an opportunity to enjoy fellowship together while discovering one of Italy’s most vibrant cultural celebrations.

Conference fees

The conference fee covers meals and accommodation in a shared room from dinner on January 28 to breakfast on January 31. 

As usual, there are three different conference fee categories, based on the region from which participants come. This regional fee structure reflects the different economic contexts across the European Baptist Federation and enables participation from a wide range of countries to participate:

• €210 (Eastern): Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Egypt, Georgia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Palestine, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan

• €290 (Central): Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary,  Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia

• €370 (Western): Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Wales

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for participants who need financial assistance. One scholarship per union may be requested. We encourage each union to consider who might benefit from taking part and to make use of the scholarship opportunity where needed.
