Youth and Children’s Committee organises an annual conference for those who have a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with a younger generation.
It is a great opportunity to get to know other youth and children workers in the region and also to get inspiration for your ministry.
Connect 2026
Focus: Ministry among youth and children in our local context and in the EBF in general
Topic: Engaging with the Bible (for us as youth and children workers but also for those that we minister to)
Where: The Highbury Centre, 20-26 Aberdeen Park, Highbury, London N5 2BJ
When: January 20-23, 2026 (Tuesday to Friday)
We will start with dinner on Jan 20, so make plans to arrive in the early afternoon to have sufficient time to check in. We will have two full days of worship, fellowship, engaging with the Bible and strengthening our network for youth and children ministry. Friday, Jan 23, will be our day for departure, but if you book a later flight, that will give us some time to hang out in downtown London.
Cost: Our aim is to enable more people from all over the EBF region to attend the conference, so we charge different conference fees depending on the economy of the region you come from. The fees for Connect 2026 are as follows:

The conference fee covers all your meals and accommodation in shared rooms from the night of January 20 until the morning of January 23. It DOES NOT cover transportation, visa or any other personal expenses before, during or after the event.

Scholarships: Thanks to your investment in the ministry of EBF Y&C through your annual contributions, limited funds are available for financial assistance to help reduce your cost a little. Reply to this email if you need to apply for scholarship.
Visa: Please check if you need a visa to enter the UK. For most countries only an ETA is required but if you need to submit a letter of invitation contact us ASAP. Please note that EBF cannot cover visa related expenses.
Minors: If you are a minor please bring a signed letter of parental consent for you to attend the conference.

EBF Y&C ExCo: Two of the positions at the EBF Y&C Executive Committee will be up for election in January: vice-chair and secretary. We are open to receive nominations for new members and/or support for the current team. Feel free to ask questions and come up with suggestions.
Please note that the venue has limited capacity so we can offer accommodation to the first 40 people who sign up.
