SENT 2023 — Mission Summit, a partnership between the European Baptist Federation (EBF) and the Baptist World Alliance (BWA), and hosted by the Baptist Union of Norway, is an opportunity for Baptists of all ages to gather together with a strategic focus on both the privilege and responsibility we share in God’s global mission. This is a mission summit where you can make a difference. The Mission Summit will be preceded by the BWA’s Annual Gathering (2-5 July) and we encourage everyone to come to both elements of the week. These events are not just for denominational leaders but for people from across our Baptist family – people of all ages and traditions, in order for us to hear and learn from each other.
The BWA’s Annual Gathering (2-5 July) will also include global updates on Mission activity around the world, and sessions led by the 14 BWA Commissions that explore from a Baptist viewpoint various issues from creation care to Baptist doctrine, from evangelism and mission through to religious freedom and human rights as well as the BWA General Council meeting where our member bodies gather to discern God’s direction for the future. We encourage everyone coming to Stavanger to attend the whole week and experience the full breadth of fellowship, input, and blessing.
