TAJIKISTAN
Right now, we see God at work in several encouraging ways. A new church has recently been established in Dushanbe, and two pastors and two deacons were ordained for ministry. We are grateful for peace and relative stability in the country, which allows the churches to continue serving and sharing the Gospel.
The “headline” for Tajikistan could be:
“God continues to build His Church in Tajikistan despite challenges.”
Please pray for the following needs:
• For faithful proclamation of the Gospel, growth in discipleship, and a stronger Christian witness in society.
• For the planting of new churches in Hisar and in the Pamir region.
• For spiritual strength and perseverance for believers from the local national background.
• For the spiritual health of the church in Rogun and for God to raise up a pastor for this congregation.
• For the successful continuation of the construction of the House of Prayer in Khujand.
TURKMENISTAN
Pray for greater religious freedom, that people in Turkmenistan may follow Jesus openly without fear.
Pray for protection, courage, and perseverance for believers facing pressure or isolation.
Pray for wider access to the Bible in the Turkmen language, that God’s Word would spread and take root.
