Prayer Calendar | Sweden
20 April - 26 April 2026
Spiritual renewal and Gospel witness – Pray for a fresh movement of God’s Spirit across Sweden, that churches would be bold, Spirit-led, and faithful in sharing the gospel in a highly secular context.
Leadership of unions – Lift up leaders of our member unions and networks, asking for wisdom, humility, and courage as they guide churches, support pastors, and discern God’s direction for the future.
Next generation leaders – Pray for young people to hear God’s call and be equipped as leaders, with vision and faith to serve both the church and wider society.

https://casinolivet.com is a strange thing to have open in another tab while reading this, but the contrast actually made the Sweden entry hit harder, especially the line about churches staying bold and Spirit-led in a highly secular context. The focus on next-generation leaders stuck with me too, since young people hearing a call in that kind of environment need both vision and steady guidance from the unions above them. I've noticed that praying specifically for leaders by name tends to change how I think about them during the week, not just during the prayer itself.
