🇷🇸 SERBIA

We wish you God’s blessing on behalf of the Baptist Union of Serbia. We sincerely thank you for your efforts and for all the help and support you have shown to us over the years. 

The time is approaching when we will be praying for Serbia and for all the needs—both of our unions and of our country. We kindly ask you to join us in prayer and to pray especially for the following needs:

• At this moment, amid the inevitability of everything the world is going through, we believe it is important to pray for peace. Many would say peace is what we need at most; however, we believe that this world needs most today, is Christ and His Gospel—the reconciliation of this world with the living God. What is especially important for our country is that we pray for Serbia to be reached with the Gospel, particularly the southern part of Serbia, where there are very few churches and very few believers. 

• We pray for new missionaries, pastors and elders. For several years now, many pastors have been retiring, and very few young people are choosing to enter full-time pastoral ministry. One of the reasons is that our churches are very small, and we are often unable to financially support pastors and missionaries. Therefore, we pray for new leaders and new pastors.

• We also pray that our Baptist Theological School would raise up many more workers, and that the Lord would bless our country with His glory and His Gospel through all of us together. 

• On the other hand, we also need revival in our churches. Because of all the problems in this world and everything that is happening, love has grown cold, and many people have withdrawn into themselves. Fewer and fewer people are attending church. We need to pray that the Lord would awaken believers and renew their hearts for His Gospel.

• Pray for unity or togetherness of three baptist Union.

• Pray for focus of all of us on evangelism of Serbia and church planting. We here in central Serbia were always involved in work for Christ in places where Gospel was never preached.

🇲🇪 MONTENEGRO

• Pray for spiritual openness and a hunger for the Gospel among people across Montenegro.

• Pray that God would raise up and strengthen local believers to be faithful witnesses in their communities.
