Pray for the COP26 climate conference, which is happening in Scotland right now. Our churches are longing for justice for the poor and care for God's good creation to be the outcome of this. Through prayer and activism, our churches long for bold decisions to be made by the world leaders in Glasgow.
We see many new possibilities for God's church as we gradually move beyond the pandemic, including new possibilities for mission through digital means and refreshing our priorities when we gather together. Pray that we will respond to all the creative promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Many church members and church leaders are feeling tired and worn out after this difficult season, and perhaps 20% of members have not yet resumed meeting together face-to-face for worship. Please pray for a recovery in spirit and soul from the stress of the pandemic times.
