We have identified five different "giants" that, like Goliath, rise and paralyze us. During this time, we have prayed based on these themes which are: The state of the world, Climate crisis, Mental illness, Gang violence and Loneliness. Just as God equipped David, we believe that He wants to equip us today so that we can meet the giants of our time. Pray that we as a church see what tools God has given us and how to use them.
At the end of May, we also meet for Congress. Pray that there will be important days when we come together to unite around the mission and that there will be no division based on the issues where we think differently.
Uniting Church:
We are in the process of appointing a new leadership in August, pray for wisdom in the decision and that our leadership will be listening for God’s guidance.
Pray for our local churches and ministries - the need to reach out to young people in our societies.
Pray for Sweden which is going through big political changes that seem to narrow the area for churches, faith communities and civil society organizations.
