Prayer Calendar | Jordan

13 April - 19 April 2026

Dear EBF family,

These days, Jordan stands in a sensitive and challenging position due to ongoing regional tensions. While we are grateful for relative stability, there is a growing sense of concern among people because of the surrounding conflicts. At times, the sounds of sirens and news of missiles in the region create anxiety, yet we continue to trust in God’s sovereignty and protection.

At the same time, God is at work. The Church in Jordan remains active, united, and committed to being a light in the midst of uncertainty. There is a growing openness among people to spiritual conversations, and many are seeking hope, peace, and meaning during these difficult days. Churches are serving faithfully, supporting one another, and preparing to respond to increasing humanitarian needs, especially as the possibility of more refugees remains real.

Prayer Requests

  • Peace and Protection: Pray for God’s covering over Jordan, that the nation would be preserved from the effects of war and regional escalation.

  • Wisdom for Leadership: Lift up the King and all decision-makers, asking God to grant wisdom, discernment, and stability in every step.

  • Strength for the Church: Pray for pastors and believers to remain steadfast, courageous, and united, continuing to reflect Christ’s love.

  • Economic Provision: Pray for families facing rising costs and financial pressure—that God would provide and sustain them.

  • Youth and Future Generations: Lift up the young people of Jordan, that they would find hope and purpose in Christ despite uncertainty.

  • Spiritual Hunger and Growth: Thank God for the openness we are seeing, and pray for continued spiritual awakening across the country.
