Although we don’t currently have member Baptist unions in Greece, we still want to lift up this beautiful nation in prayer. As part of the European Baptist Federation family, our heart goes out to all Christians and churches in Greece, along with the broader society facing unique challenges and opportunities.

Pray for support for small Christian communities

• Pray for strength, unity, and encouragement for the small Baptist churches and other evangelical communities in Greece. Ask God to bless their outreach efforts and to provide wisdom as they navigate challenges in a predominantly Orthodox context.

  
  

Pray for outreach and witness in Greek society

• Pray for creative and culturally sensitive ways for churches to share the love of Christ in a society with deep Orthodox traditions. Lift up ministries that serve marginalized groups, refugees, and the poor, as they often open doors for witnessing Christ’s love in practical ways.

Pray for youth and next-generation leaders

• Pray for young Christians in Greece, that they might grow in faith and become bold leaders in their communities. Lift up efforts to disciple and mentor young people in a society facing rapid social and cultural changes.
