Pray for the continuing renewal of the Baptist Union of Denmark. Pray that the Genstart process and the work following last year’s Synod will lead to meaningful change in our congregations, helping us find new ways of being church and taking shared responsibility for our common mission.
Pray for healthy and welcoming congregations. Pray for wisdom as new policies are implemented, so that our churches may be safe communities where children, young people and adults can grow in faith. Pray also that theological, cultural and generational differences will be handled with honesty, patience and respect.
Pray for greater solidarity and diversity within our church. Pray that congregations of different sizes, financial situations and local circumstances will support one another. Remember especially our migrant and international congregations, and pray that different languages, cultures and traditions will increasingly be recognized as a strength in our common life.
Pray for our shared mission in Denmark and beyond. Pray for our partners and sister churches in Burundi, Rwanda and Myanmar, particularly those working for peace, reconciliation, education, health and better living conditions. Pray that the Baptist Union of Denmark will be known for open doors, generous fellowship and a hope that is expressed through both words and practical action.
