EBF Council 2021 to Take Place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The EBF Council will be taking place as ‘a hybrid’ event (in person + online) from Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th September at the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West.
This decision was made by the EBF leadership after consulting the EBF member Unions and reviewing carefully the current Covid-19 entry regulations for the Netherlands.
For those who can travel to Amsterdam, you will stay and meet safely at the Hotel. For those are still not able to join us in person, we are arranging the main sessions to be accessible online.
After so many months of not being able to meet together, we hope that as many a possible will now be able to join us in person. Of course we are sad that this will not include everyone who would like to be there. We have been working on a participative programme for the Council which will include the election of new leadership for the EBF - and saying ‘farewell’ to the ‘retiring’ General Secretary. Please join us in prayer that the decision we have made can be carried through to the Council, and that we will know the Lord’s presence and leading as we meet together.

https://bingocasinos.net came to mind while reading about the hybrid setup, since juggling in-person and online attendance seems like the same balance plenty of organizations are still figuring out. The detail about electing new leadership while saying farewell to the retiring General Secretary stood out to me, because those two moments in one gathering carry a lot of weight for everyone involved. I've sat through enough hybrid meetings to know the online crowd often gets sidelined, so I hope they put real effort into making the main sessions genuinely accessible.
