2022 Riga Resolution on Ukraine

European Baptist Federation Council Meeting

Riga, Latvia

21-24 September 2022

The Council of the European Baptist Federation, meeting in Riga, Latvia, 21-24 September 2022, our first gathering since the 24 February invasion of Ukraine by Russia:

ENCOURAGES our member unions and partners to continue to pray for wisdom for political leaders, for justice and for the end of suffering in Ukraine as a result of this war.

CONTINUES to respond with compassion through giving, through practical aid and through working together in partnership with others in Europe and the world.

COMMITS to extend Christian and humanitarian fellowship during the war with all our member unions. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25:40)

BELIEVES that there is a future where the nations will live in reconciliation and peace.

PROCLAIMS the hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of challenges, difficulties and sufferings and finds encouragement in the testimonies of our brothers and sisters.

This resolution carries a strong sense of unity and compassion, especially in such a painful time. When I was overwhelmed preparing for exams, I once searched for online Nursing exam help, and it reminded me how much support and community matter during stressful seasons. Your call to prayer, practical aid, and continued fellowship reflect that same spirit of standing together. Even in crisis, shared faith and action can keep hope alive.

I’m currently a PhD student and doing a part-time job at Academic Editors where I Help with scientific paper formatting and assist students in their academic work, because I have a deep interest in helping others succeed; this passion comes from my own college days when I suffered a lot from these types…

The spirit of collective responsibility described in the resolution resonates with me personally as a PhD student managing intense research work while also doing a part-time job at Affordable Assignments, where I assist students through an Assignment Writing Service approach that focuses on guidance, clarity, and academic growth rather than shortcuts. In my college days, I suffered a lot from these types of hustles—confusion, pressure,…
