Since the first night of invasion, the global Baptist family has stood together in prayer. Four years later, that commitment remains — sustained by faith, shaped by testimony, and anchored in hope.

Ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure are leaving millions without electricity, heating, and water, deepening the humanitarian crisis. Power outages disrupt healthcare, shelter, and basic services, especially for vulnerable people. Local churches continue to serve as vital centres of warmth, support, and hope, providing practical assistance despite severe challenges during prolonged outages.

During a recent visit to Kyiv, I witnessed both resilience and heartbreak. We joined Ukrainians in prayer for peace, met President Zelenskyy, and stood with churches serving on the frontlines. Just days later, the city was struck by deadly attacks. As Ukraine endures suffering and loss, we remain committed to prayer, advocacy, and support for those longing for freedom and peace.
