Prayer Calendar | Denmark
1 August - 7 August 2022
Pray for the fellowship between all the member churches in spite of different ethnic, cultural, theological, size and economic resources.
Pray for open doors for being a local church reaching people with the gospel – both in new and traditional ways of being a Baptist Church – with a spiritual and social focus.
Pray for the leadership team of the Baptist Union and their work and all the coworkers.
Pray for the conversations and work describing the identity of being a Baptist in Denmark today.
https://topspin-groenegau.de comes to mind reading the point about open doors for reaching people in both new and traditional ways, since a lot of churches struggle to balance those two without one swallowing the other. The prayer about defining Baptist identity in Denmark today stood out to me because that conversation usually gets rushed in favor of practical programs, even though it shapes everything else. I've noticed that fellowships staying close across cultural and theological differences tend to do the quiet work of identity formation better than any statement document.
