Meego Remmel, EBF Vice President - May 31, 2019
All-Ukrainian Union of Associations of Evangelical Christians-Baptists gathered to the 28th Congress in Kiev on May 24th and May 25th under the theme of “You Know the Time” (Romans 13:11-14).
The Congress re-elected both the President Valeriy Antonyuk and the Vice President Igor Bandura for their next term as well as the leadership of the Union and the regional overseers.
There were several guests greeting the Ukrainian brothers and sisters on behalf of the sister Unions and partnering organizations. EBF was represented by Vice President Meego Remmel from Estonia who was also one of the keynote speakers to the Congress on the topic.
There were 644 registered delegates and guests at the Congress. The Union continues to stress missions, youth and education. There was also a graduation ceremony for honouring the graduates of the baptistic seminary.
Ukrainian Union has sent out 42 missionaries to 20 countries. The Congress received also a declaration on the issue of whole Gospel to be shared to the whole world.
